I'm exciteed for this year...with a new coach and some new players it will be a very interesting season. I'm not one who cares about the playofff streak other than I get to watch my team a couple weeks longer. I want to see them build another solid contender for years to come and hopefully that involves an influx of youth that we seem to have an abundance of. I cant wait till some of these kids get a chance to show their stuff.

I do agree that a new voice will do some good. Perhaps Babs message began to fall on deaf ears after so long. Hopefully the new philosophies (though I dont see them being much different) will re-energize the old guys and spark the young guys to take that next step. All I know for sure is I can't wait for even the pre season to start so I cant start watching some hockey!

i agree that im super excited, new coach, added richards, green and pulk to full time roles, still have some D prospects to come up this year, gained some depth with tangradi and even cleary lol, but seriously, this should be a great year

i already have NHL 16 downloaded and waiting til launch so i can do a new GM mode. Im DYYYYYIIIING to see what larkin is rated and what his potential might be

Wait two weeks or a month. They always adjust ratings based on how the players are doing. They also just mess up sometimes. Two years ago they made Aleksandr Barkov a mid 70's player with 3 yellow stars then after a while they changed him to like a 78 with 4.5 yellow star potential.

They do that with every team. I know whenever I start one immediately, I regret it lol.
